Sweet Dream by Kim Heechul & Min Kyung Hoon with Momo & Knowing Brothers Cast

Since family outing, I have been a fan of Kim Heechul.
I am very happy he has a lot of shows now because as we all know, Super Junior only has a few members active now.

I also like JYP groups like Got7, Twice, 2pm & Miss A..
I first watched Knowing Brothers (Ask Us Anything) because Twice was the guest in their 27th episode.
Since then, I’ve been watching Knowing Brothers because the concept is fun and the members are hilarious..
I don’t really know Min Kyung Hoon and Lee Sang Min before Knowing Brothers but I must admit they are really funny too!

Following Heechul and Twice, I also ship Heechul and Momo..
So when I heard Momo will cameo in the Music Video, I was really stoked!
My ship is sailing!

Okay, enough of the Intro..
I like the song itself and the music video is epic!

I must admit, when I first watched the MV, I was not able to concentrate on the song..
The MV has a melo story but because the cast are comedians, I can’t help but laugh!
It’s amazing how they pulled of a dramatic story but I really can’t stop laughing!
Plus the plot twist at the end is hilarious!

I like that the song is ballad and the voice of Heechul and Kyung Hoon really complemented each other..
The tune is soothing although it is a somehow a sad song. Lyrics was written by uri Kim Heechul! The song really deserved an All-Kill (photo above)!

English Lyrics of Sweet Dream:

The night I can embroider the time that passed
The time that was not short

Now we are even closer to each other

I want to remember it with a smile
Even you say there will be the end coming

Even we will break up some day

Even it disappears tomorrow

Not to forget,
To remember,

Not to forget even after a long time

To remember

I’ll look back today

I’ll hold it in my closed eyes

And I’ll fall asleep taking all into my dreams

Even the last wind blows
Telling me when the last day is

Even our old pictures become faded

I want to remember it with a smile
Even you say there will be the end coming

Even we will break up some day

Even it disappears tomorrow

Not to forget,
To remember,

Not to forget even after a long time

To remember

I’ll look back today

I’ll hold it in my closed eyes

And I’ll fall asleep taking all into my dreams

If there are the spring flowers, the summer butterflies, the fall leaves
And the winter moonlight

Our memories will also be there forever

The flower of destiny won’t fall
It blooms in my heart

Even the leaves of oblivion fall

I’ll look up the moon in the sky

And will remember back then

So you have yourself a good night

Lucky Romance Korean Drama

I keep on planning to write about Korean dramas since I really like watching Korean shows..
However, I really can’t find the time to do so..

Funny thing is, when it is about Ryu Jun Yeol, I am able to make time for him..

Okay, when I heard that Ryu Jun Yeol will be top billing Lucky Romance along with Hwang Jung Eum, I felt an inner fulfillment.
Sounds weird right?
I was just so happy that he managed to get another lead role after Reply 1988.
Really felt bad that he was not the husband of Dukseon.
I fell in love with his character as Jung Hwan and fell deeper in love with his personality in Youth Over Flowers Africa.
I am happy for him that his hardwork paid off and I hoped that his new drama will be a success as well.
Plus his partner in the drama is no other than Hwang Jung Eum!
Such a big catch for his second drama..

Lucky Romance has a funny plot.
Shim Bo Nui (Hwang Jung Eum) believes in superstitions and fortune tellers and she follows them blindly. She was told to spend a night with person who is a tiger (zodiac sign) for her sister to wake up from her coma state.
Je Soo Ho, on the other hand, is her boss in a game developer company. Coincidentally, Je Soo Ho is a tiger. You know what happens next. Shim Bo Nui tries to sleep with Je Soo Ho and their love story begins..

At first the drama is just okay.
I love how natural Jun Yeol’s acting is and for Hwang Jung Eum, her character is somehow similar to her character in She Was Pretty but she is still hilarious as ever.
It is funny but somehow, the “Kilig” (Heart-fluttering) factor is there but not quite.
BUT! The “Kilig” factor I was looking for unexpectedly hit me big time!
My love for this drama suddenly surged starting episode 9-10.
Watch this short clip to know why:

How cute is that? 🙂

Anyway, if you are wondering what Kdrama to watch next, I suggest you give Lucky Romance a try.
It is entertaining and you will certainly love the characters.

Happy Birthday to our Got7’s Jackson!

Saengil Chukha Hamnida uri Jackson!

I love Got7!
Love every member, their songs, choreo & their characters.. 🙂
When I first saw Jackson, I really didn’t like him coz he seemed arrogant.
But I was wrong!
Now, he is my bias since October of 2014.

He is such a joker and likes to talk a lot.
You will never get bored when you watch his shows.
I started to like him when I watched him in Roommate Season 2 then Hitmaker Season 1&2.
I even purchased his signed Got7 Identify album online.. 🙂

Jackson Wang, 22, is from Hong Kong.
A fencing athlete who went to Korea to pursue his dream to become a Kpop Singer.
He was even a gold medalist! That explains his nice bod.
He is a member of GOT7 male group from JYP Entertainment.
He & Mark (sometimes with JB) are in charge of the group’s stunts.
He is one of the rappers of the group but I also love his singing voice.
He likes to joke and I find it entertaining when he becomes too sensitive and acts hurt all the time.
He is also sweet with his members and he knows how to have fun.

I also loved it when he was paired with Youngji from KARA in Roommate.
He seems like a sweet and decent guy under his bad boy facade.

But what I love the most about him is how he values his family.
I cried buckets of tears during the Christmas episode when he saw his parents again.
I watched it when I was in Singapore away from my family which made it more meaningful.

Today, I saw his post in Instagram and I can’t help but smile knowing he is a loving and kind son.

His love for his family is so genuine that his mom posted a very touching message to him on his birthday.
I really teared up while reading the message.

Once again, Happy Birthday Jackson!
P.S. Somehow I wish to see him in a drama someday.. 🙂

Got7 just made their comeback last week.
I super love his deep voice in his rap!
You can watch their Title Track Fly MV below:

Reply 1988- Timing & Fate

1280x720-yjH“That’s why another word for fate is timing.
If I hadn’t gotten caught at just one of those red lights,
if those damned red lights had helped me out just once…
I might be standing in front of her right now, like fate.
My first love was always held back by damned timing.
That damn timing.”

“In the end, fate and timing do not just happen out of coincidence.
They are products of earnest, simple choices, that make up miraculous moments.
Being resolute, making decisions without hesitation—that is what makes timing.
He wanted her more than I did..
And I should have been more courageous.
It was not the the traffic light’s fault.
It was not timing..
But the countless times I hesitated.”

-Kim Jung-Hwan (Ryu Jun-Yeol)

Unrequited Love.
What can I say?
I am really sad that Jung Hwan was not able to express his love for Duk Seon.
He did have his chance but he lost it.

The quote above is my favorite quote from the drama.
His realization was also a wake up call for me.
I would also blame the timing or the circumstance but actually, deep inside,
I know that my decisions (or lack of) led me to where I am today.

Jung Hwan was a great character, a great second lead.
He knew he blew his chance and he gave way for Taek & Duk Seon to be together.
Sacrifice & friendship- more than his own happiness.

It pains me that he was only able to express his feelings through a joke.
However, I believe Duk Seon understood what he meant but she also knew
it was too late because she already fell for Taek.

I really thought Jung Hwan is the husband- he cared for her since the beginning.
Everyone who watched the show knows that.
But yah, I guess Reply 1988 wants to show us that not everyone gets the man/woman they love- even though we thought he was the main guy.

Reply 1988 will always give me that pinch of pain in the heart among the 3 Reply series.
